The Mission is to:

Instruct Teachers and Students,

Advocate for Student Rights,

Empower Parents

What are we dealing with here?

Are they truly dyslexic or is there something else going on? Assess.

Parent Interview of concerns, Administration of Full Intelligence and Achievement Assessments, Scoring of Tests, Extensive Testing Data Report, and Parent Data Analysis meeting… that is what is involved when an evaluation takes place to determine the root of learning struggles.

Get the results within a 2-week’s time. Take the report to any public or charter school, or college, of your choice for Section 504 or Special Education eligibility conversations. Note, the school may require additional information to help them personally understand your student’s strengths and weaknesses and classroom accommodation needs.

Call to make an appointment to discuss your concerns.

Education Advocacy

I will serve others.

Experience as an educator, therapist, and administrator has prepared me to help others understand the codes and data that schools use to make decisions. I am not an attorney; however, as a team member of the National IEP/ARD Advocates (NARDA), I have the network to the knowledge and experiential wealth of experts in all facets of Special Education to brainstorm ideas and find the best pathway for success for my clients.

  • I help parents interpret assessment data received from schools

  • I listen to families and guide them in prioritizing their child’s educational wants and needs

  • I empower parents to be active participants in the school meeting and their child’s best advocate

  • I, also, represent families at IEP or 504 meetings

Dyslexia Instruction

There is mighty power in reading.

I trained at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Well versed in multiple Orton-Gillingham programs. As a Certified Texas Dyslexia Qualified Instructor, I instruct educators to become dyslexia instructors qualified in the methods of Orton-Gillingham.

I am an active member of the Academic Language Therapists Association (ALTA) which means, I must constantly continue my education in the newest research, methods, and techniques, and laws concerning dyslexia instruction.

I thoroughly enjoy presenting private reading, spelling, cursive handwriting, and comprehension lessons to people of all ages. Reading is the foundation for academic advancement.

The most effective results are evidenced by 3-5 days a week classes for 50-60 minutes each session. Depending on client’s needs, it could be a two, or more, year journey.

one session l $50

A one-time materials fee of $20 will be charged

No weekend lessons are available.
